Accreditations

StayWell’s vision is that everyone will pursue ideal health and well-being. To support this goal, we’re committed to offering the market an evidence-based solution that is proven to improve population health. This commitment leads StayWell to meet NCQA and URAQ’s rigorous accreditation standards year after year.

Accreditation standards include:

  • Full Patient and Practitioner Oriented Accreditation from NCQA for our disease management programs, including services for asthma, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, coronary artery disease and diabetes.
  • NCQA-Certified HEDIS® Compliance Audit™ completion for Wellness and Health Promotion (WHP) measure reporting.
  • URAQ Health Content Provider Accreditation. URAC standards closely examine a number of different areas, including organizational policies and structures, disclosure, health content, quality oversight, and accountability.

About NCQA

NCQA is the acronym for the National Committee for Quality Assurance, a non-profit Washington D.C. based organization whose mission is to improve the quality of health care. NCQA was established in 1990 and is widely recognized as the gold standard of quality for health plans.


About URAC

URAC, an independent, non-profit organization, promotes health care quality through its accreditation, education and measurement programs. URAC offers a wide range of quality benchmarking programs and services that keep pace with the rapid changes in the health care system, and provide a symbol of excellence for organizations to validate their commitment to quality and accountability.
